Keep ASP-led e-invoicing connected to finance

Your ASP exchanges the invoice; InvoiceDX does not transmit to the FTA. It gives each rejection or status mismatch an owner, a rule and a permitted ERP action.

Demo / test-readyThis badge shows e-invoicing exchange readiness; reporting and return support have their own status below.
  • SAP, Tally and ERPNext connectors, plus client-specific connectors
  • Any GSP or ASP you run
  • TaxGenie, a GSTN-empanelled GSP — GST compliance since 2017
  • ISO/IEC 27001 certified

Legal mandate

PINT AE e-invoicing

Dated sources and legal status are shown per obligation block below. Mandate status is the authority's; readiness is ours.

E-invoicing mandates, dated and sourced →

Authorised-provider role

Your Accredited Service Provider (ASP) — or one we recommend — keeps the PINT AE exchange and transmission to the Federal Tax Authority. Appointing an ASP settles who exchanges the invoice, not what finance does when it comes back rejected or disagrees with the ledger. That is where unposted invoices, unapproved credit notes and VAT differences build up. InvoiceDX gives each exchange state an owner, a rule and a permitted ERP action — in a test environment today.

Does not transmit: InvoiceDX is not an Accredited Service Provider and does not transmit to the FTA.

Who uses the UAE workflow

Each role sees the same exception, its owner and its evidence — never a direct line to a tax authority.

E-invoicing exchange / clearance

PINT AE exchange via your ASP

In law

Under Ministerial Resolution No. 66 of 2026 (amending Ministerial Resolution No. 244 of 2025), businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an Accredited Service Provider by 30 October 2026 and implement the Electronic Invoicing System by 1 January 2027. Service providers are accredited directly by the Ministry of Finance under Ministerial Decision No. 168 of 2026. A penalty regime exists (Cabinet Decision No. 106 of 2025).

PINT AE exchange states returned by your ASP are connected to exception ownership, delegated approval and ERP status in a test environment. Any corrected invoice or credit note goes back through your ASP.

  • Your Accredited Service Provider keeps the accredited exchange role; InvoiceDX works alongside it.
  • Demo/test-ready: see the workflow on your data in a test environment before any production deployment.
Transaction reporting

FTA reporting (ASP-performed)

In law

Invoice data is transmitted by your appointed ASP within 14 business days (Ministerial Decision No. 197 of 2026, amending MD 243/2025). Transactions within a tax group are excluded for 24 months from 1 January 2027.

Performed by your ASP; InvoiceDX coordinates exception states so that a rejected or unsent document has an owner before the transmission window closes. See it working on your data in a test environment.

  • Transmission to the FTA stays with your ASP.
  • The 14-business-day window is the authority's; your ASP's transmission record is the evidence of meeting it, and InvoiceDX makes sure every rejected or unsent document has an owner before it closes.
Periodic return support

VAT return

In law

The periodic VAT return is filed with the Federal Tax Authority for each tax period under the UAE VAT law; it remains a separate obligation from e-invoicing exchange and reporting.

Review workpapers and reconciliation evidence between exchange states, the ledger and the return; filing stays with your return tool or adviser.

  • Your return tool or adviser files the VAT return from the workpapers InvoiceDX prepares.

Demonstrable workflow

Illustrative workflow — not a connected live transaction. Sample company names only.

  1. 1

Sample Trading LLC's sales invoice is sent through its appointed ASP, which returns an exchange rejection

  2. 2

InvoiceDX raises an exception and assigns it to the receivables owner with the rejection reason

  3. 3

The owner identifies a master-data error; delegation of authority approves the correction

  4. 4

The corrected invoice is re-sent through the ASP route; the new exchange state is recorded

  5. 5

ERP status is updated and the evidence is retained for the VAT workpaper
